No real time to blog

I don't really have time to blog with it being finals week.
But a quick little study break never hurt anyone.

This weekend got in a good 5 hour ride with the team:
The usual 8:00 am Roco ride to the first two climbs, then up torro, gibralter, and ECC and down painted cave. Thanks to Gary Douville 's shear awesomeness and killer generosity he lent me "The Buss": a yellow and black 2007 (6?) Allez specialized to ride for a year or until I have enough money saved up to buy another bike. I took it for its maiden voyage on the Saturday team ride and it handles like a dream. It also feels anywhere from 2 to 3 pounds lighter.
The granny was out of commission for the ride unfortunately I ended up having to climb everything in the 23. As Cookie said on top La Cumbre Peak "You climbed up in your 23? Good, that good for you... Make ya strong." (or something like that, I was a little bonkish up there so cant be too sure what was really going on) . I much perfer to spin a higher cadence then try to power up like that. It was pretty painful up towards the top. Big ups to people who climb like that... maybe one day the 23 will feel like a 26 because Ill be so strong... and intense...
I think the blistering cold up there wasn't the best thing in the world for me, however. That in combination with the stress of finals landed me in some respiratory trouble.
I've been having trouble breathing all week and Saturday night I developed a deep bronchial cough upon which a fever was added last night.
Couldn't have come at a better time however with finals up the last thing I have time for this week is riding.

John Goodman got some killer shots

Some of the guys

Me looking very serious... and intense... grrrr

Now what about those finals huh?
Well two tests one paper down - 4 tests and 3 papers to go.
Tomorrows a by so It will be spent writing my ass off and studying over 450 text book pages of psychology... ugh I cant wait.
The plan is though to get as much done tonight as I can so that when I wake up tomorrow the computer isn't blank.
