5:15 Am The alarm clock goes off
5:30 AM Out the door to meet Gary at the base of osm
6:00 AM Gary shows up we head up osm and painted cave
From there it all a blur. All I know is we went up and down osm and painted cave 3 times in a row, I decided to call it quits after three because my knee was acting up... Gary went up for a fourth time.
I had the time of life.... Rode 4 hours... climbed approx 8000 feet in all, and all this before 10:00 AM.
This is going to be a good day. I can already tell. My knee hurts something awful though... I'm think I'm going to take tomorrow off.
forward and up!

Chester-
Great riding with you out there buddy! It was certainly a fine morning. Thanks for joining me. I hit it hard the 4th time up Painted Cave to test myself and almost cried at the top.
Rest that knee!!
Gary
I tried to head up for a fourth and at least get another repeat up osm but couldnt hang.
It was a good ride, thanks for inviting me
Chester-
Where does your knee hurt? Is it the tendons on the sides, or is it the under side of the kneecap? I have issues off and on with the latter, and one thing I found that really helps is to make sure my IT band is not too tight. I use "The Stick" to massage the outside of my quad and it seems to have helped a lot.
But whatever it is in your case, figure it out and nip it in the bud before it gets chronic.

Sounds like a great way to start the day. I'll have to come down sometime so you can show me some of these places you ride.
For yout IT band, You can use the massage roller I lent your mom before the tri.
I didn't get a chance to show you how to use it, but you can see some videos at: http://tpmassageball.com/totalbodypackage.php
