So Cal Cup Mtn Bike Series

The SoCal cup series was just announced:

1. March 4th, 2012-Temecula

2. March 10th/11th-Bonelli Triple Crown

3. March 24th/25th-Fontana Triple Crown

4. April 1st-Riverside

5. April 28th/29th-Santa Ynez

6. May 20th-Sage Brush

7. June 3rd-Big Bear

Series FinalsJune 17th-California State Finals

This is pretty Ideal as they condensed the racing into 4 months, also only one Big Bear which I have mixed feelings about. That course can be pretty epic. I will be at every single one of those race

My riding plans for next year are to continue to take it mellow with little formal training until December. I have just been too busy with the new baby and Work . Even running consistently has been tough.

I also took a long hard evaluation of my relationship towards bicycle racing at the end of last season. So much Self, Ego, and suffering wrapped up in a hobby? It lead to a planned hiatus from all activities where competition could come into play: group rides, group runs, races of any kind etc. More to come on that topic next post.
