Training has been hit and miss these last couple of weeks...
Sick, busy with school and work, busy with wedding stuff, sick again, staring a garden... I could offer up a myriad of excuses.
But lets just say I have had bigger fish to fry then bicycle racing.
It is a hobby, one that I have grown pretty passionate about. But like most things in my life, not one that I take too seriously. I think when things are really put in perspective and people understand the fragility of life and the "human condition", humor can be found in most things in life... Sometimes I really do feel like it is all a joke... one that could end tomorrow with the same swiftness as a snap of the thumb and middle finger.
I have felt like I have been on borrowed time now for some time now and am just grateful ever day I wake up with my head above water. Its funny what optimism true hopelessness can breed.
The next time I blog will most likely be as a married man!
I am leaving tomorrow to head down to Palm Springs for my Wedding.
YOWZA!
It is getting close now, like 4 days close.
How lucky I am to have found such a kind hearted beautiful woman who wants to spend the rest of my life with me.
How lucky I am to have found my life partner while we are both still so young.
I am more excited then nervous. For a guy like me to end up with a life like this is truly miraculous.
This blog will be back up and running in its usual fashion around April 6Th. In the mean time be sure to support the site and do a little shopping courtesy of that familiar panel on the right side of the web page! ;-)
