Quicky

I decided that I needed a week of "down-time" after my races last week. I was starting to feel sick, was getting discouraged etc etc.

So this week has been a pretty tame recovery week... Easy spins with a couple "efforts" here and there.

-------------------------------

On another note we had a rider go down last night at the crit practice. Frazier was sent to the hospital after braking his collar bone, tearing his rotor cuff, and I believe some bruising to his lungs... He is doing well but will most likely be sidelined for 4 to 6 weeks... please keep him in your thoughts.

I have a busy rest of the season with 18 races lined up but I have rethought and rearranged my goals a little bit with less of an emphasis on upgrading and more of an emphasis on gaining experience and focusing of committing to the decisions I make during races and having fun. It might sound cheesy, but when focused solely on winning and upgrading it is really easy to take all the fun out of it. The results will come... In their Own time.

Be sure to check out Bandits blog- I think he set a course record for the 24/hr solo Hurkey creek race. He took first by several laps!

The change of focus will do both of us good. Good on ya' Chester. Way to take stock of what's important. You're da' freakin' man.
