Another Industrial Park Crit...

SO Zpack and the Mule headed down to Torrence for yet another Industrial Park Crit...
I already mentioned the Plan going in above...
Sit near the front, save energy, and then unleash the furry with Zpack turning up the heat and leading out The Mule.
Well, I saw a break of 7 forming with well representation from the major team present so I hung out near the front and was planning to counter attack when they were brought back- It didn't pan out the way I had intended it too. When the time came I looked around and didn't see Seth so I started to drift back...
We re-grouped and re committed to the plan but with 5 to go I was following a wheel to the front- That wheel ended up attacking and then blowing and I looked back and saw a gap so I drilled it- pretty soon I had an even bigger gap... I settled into a sustainable rythm in the hopes that someone would bridge up.
A guy from Helen's made the jump which was good because Helens had a decent sized team and I figured they might help block for us.
He didn't really have what It was going to take and I started hesitating thinking about getting caught.
I hesitated and I blew it... I doubted myself... and sure enough we got caught, then BAMMM
a huge crash on the backside.
I had to bunny hop a cats head and then sprint for all I had just to catch the rear of the 30 some riders who made it through.
Zpack was looking pretty good but scraped his pedal on turn three and lost about 10 positions and almost went down.. hard... He finished 20th.
I finished somewhere around 30th...

Lesson Learned: If I'm gonna go- GO. DON'T LOOK BACK, DON'T HESITATE, COMMIT, COMMIT, COMMIT... If I'm not- DON'T...

Its this half ass, cant decide what move to make crap that kills me.

Well Zpack and the Mule aren't even close to done... It is going to take a little more then a few defeats to get rid of us... from here on out it is back to the old program ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!!!

Great report Chester, I've got a vivid picture in my mind of someone looking up at you from the pavement as you bunny hop their dome. Keep on firing!
