Headed down to Palm springs for the weekend.

I did get a chance to hammer with some of the Desert Rats. Its the same old story... A couple Pros joined the ride about 20 minutes in and started drillin in on the front. I got dropped but then a 5 star fish and his brother and sister (on a tandem) who were hangin with their dad came flying by, I was able to suck there wheels and bridge up the main group only to get dropped again. Luckily I got dropped right before a water stop though. It was a blast to ride with new people on new terrain. I got a couple comments on the PLATINUM gear... Apparently the reputation of the MTB team precedes us.

I decided to go for a long hour plus up hill run on Sunday and I can still barely move my legs- bad Idea (I didn't even know I could be sore in such places)

Monday I started my working for Textron Systems. They are also a sponsor and I'm supper excited to working for such a killer company! They have done a lot to help our cycling team.
