Today marked the first V02 Max interval work out... The first of many.
2min on 2min off (repeat 6 times)
1.5min on 1.5min off(repeat 6 times)
1min on 1min off (repeat 6 times)
30sec on 30sec off(repeat 8 times)
I almost threw up 3 times during the session. And literally felt like I was going to die another couple of times.
Mantra as follows:
On second thought maybe I better keep the secret mantra a secret. It is after all the source of all my power and will propel me into the European pro pelaton by the end of the season. It is THAT powerful.
It is the kind of mantra that would allow me to pour gasoline all over my body and then light myself of fire and feel no pain- sort of like those yogis.
So I say to you Mr. Lactate Acid:
BRING ON THE PAIN!
GaryAnne wants to do a 4.5 hour ride tomorrow starting at 5:15 am... That means I would have to leave my house by 5 min of 5... That means that I would have to wake up at 4:30... He said that it's a requirement for employment- That its "part of the deal"... I say 5:15? Why stop there? Ill see you at 4:00 AM Gary, base of OLD SAN MARCOS! and all you sallies out there sleeping at 4 AM take a cue from Chopper (Graphic content warning)

no I didn't sleep well that night because of certain loved ones who are very sick who I was taking care of... Plus I had a little annoying asthma related cough.
I didn't mean to make light of it. Hope Caitlin is feeling better soon.
