Testing

Well with the final little push and training in order to build properly for the taper in April, Jason and I did some testing the early part of this week to determine where I am at training wise and to adjust threshold and zones.
The latest numbers come back at 300-310 watts for FTP. A 20 watt increase over three months.

The next 8 weeks are gonna be pretty strenuous but also exciting. Like I mentioned before the plan is going to be to try to peak for sea otter and then maintain form for anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks.

The game plan for tomorrow is head out to the 101 for 3 x 20's at 280-310 watts.

Sounds like we're on the same plan, FTP and everything ;-)

However, I'll be doing 2xOSM today instead of 101.

Just curious, did Jason have you do a couple of shorter tests and estimate the FTP Monod-style?

yeah he did. He mentioned something about your constant harping. Those numbers include the errors involved with the monod-style FTP calculation.

Cool...good stuff.

What's this "harping" business? ;-)
