another year over...

Well simultaneous multiple infections keept me from riding for pretty much two weeks. I wont bore you with the gory details. But Ive been riding again this week and its been a slow road to recovery.

Christmas was great! Caitin and I celebrated it early becuase I had to work xmas eve and she had to work xmas. We headed down to Palm SPrings and spent a day with my fam and then headed up to LA the next to celebrate with Cait's. Then Caitlins Fam came up xmas day for christmas number 3 and brought with them the grill they had bought Caitlin. (By the way she used it today and set an entire chicken on fire---> everybody is alright and I'm sure that Caitlin and her grill will provide hours of blogging entertainment in the future)

I started a new job at Palazzio and its been keeping me very very busy. I cant believe how busy that place gets. We open at 5:30 and are completely packed right from the gate and then operate a full capacity until an hour before close.

I start school again on the 28Th and with school and work I will be very busy. I'm going to try to race as much as possible but I don't think its going to be as much as I would like.

Right now I have my sights set on the Martin Luther King memorial crit on the 20Th and then the Nevada Stage Race the weekend of the 25Th.

I just gave those dates to work so Ill be crossing my fingers in the hopes that they will give them to me.

Two weeks off the bike can really take its toll on fitness. I'm probably going to be a little off form early in the season but its a very LONG season so I'm not really worried about it.

If anyone is interested in carpooling by way of 34 foot motor home to sea otter let me know. I have access to one that can sleep 5 comfortably. But it doesn't really make sense for me to take it unless a couple more are on board.

My sister is looking for a bike so if anyone knows anyone with a bike or frame somewhere in the ball park of 50 cm who are looking to sell let me know.

Week end plans? depending on how I feel I may ride with the echelon boys and then sunday either worlds or the mountains depending on the weather.
