Who needs a heart rate Monitor?

When you can sing...

Thats how I monitor how close I am to Lactate threshold and how hard my heart is working. By how well I can sing and mantain a song while pedaling. It may not be exact science but its what I got. I normally use either show tunes or cheesy inspirational songs that work well with my falsetto (that really high pitched voice).

One of these days I'll have a spedometer and a heart rate monitor. But untill that day arrives its good 'ol Andrew Loyd Webber.

happy riding

Chester--try that at the next sunday worlds...then Gary will get a pass on the "weird" comments... :-) You've gotta choose your song wisely though...because there will be mutiny if we all get it stuck in our heads...

Hey I think you've got it right. This is supposed to be fun, let's not get too serious. With regard to comments on this entry, watch it with 'Fat bottomed Girls', in mixed company.
